While I do not accept the IDF as a source of uncontaminated information, I suspect this is likely a true statement. Its plausible ... from a couple of different viewpoints. Hamas is essentially equipped with an evolution of the old Free Rocket Over Ground (FROG), described in Soviet military literature as a cannon ball that burns and runs. These are not precision or particularly reliable forms of ordinance. So accidental misfires are certainly possible. And so also is cold blooded exploitation of a helpless civilian population by their own leaders. The days news might have been too short on stories of atrocity for their taste. Hamas may have decided to sacrifice some more Palestinian blood. The point is, we can trust neither Israeli or Palestinian organs to obtain an accurate presentation of realities on the ground.
