While I exude the typical stereotype of a Latino male … I proudly wear the badge of honor my life has afforded me. I will continue to challenge popular narratives in mainstream ideology of what it means to be a Mexican American living in this multi-cultural country and, do so with a facade that critiques the impression of what it means to be an educated “minority.” Through my Chicano lifestyle, you will learn to shift your framework as I break historical typecasts with my traditional appearance and, make you ask yourself, “WTF?!” when you see look like a thug then speak in such an eloquent manner as to suggest that I am educated; because I am baboso. I’m educated like a Gansta, empowered as a Chicano, and stronger because of the community that has garnered my future. I, am a pinche intellect! #gangstaintellect
