While I have a D behind my name, it not about being a Democrat or a Republican or any politician. I really dont care who you are or what you do for a living. But if you say you despise and hate guns, our and then you are caught carrying one or using them to make money, and you believe that gun control applies to everyone but yourself, you are a hypocrite of the worst kind. And then you wonder why responsible gun owners like me cringe at even a minor concession to our freedoms or a new mental health law that you have to pass before we can really find out what is in it. After all, if you dont follow the law, why would anyone else? It is also interesting that no one even talks about like knives or any other item that is used to kill or maim. Its the person, stupid,not the tool. And Democrats wonder why responsible gun owners cringe at even small concessions to their freedoms. After all, if the lawmakers dont follow the law, why should anyone else? We see that when analyzing the data of gun free zones. When it comes down to it, its not about being a Democrat or a Republican or a Senator. I dont care who you are or what you do. If you say you hate guns, but then youre caught carrying one or using them to make money, I dont want you representing me in our government. Additionally, I believe we have enough laws on the books right now--the current ones need to be enforced and the mental health ones need to be fully funded.
