While I hear there may have been at least one life taken yesterday afternoon in the accident that shut down the westbound lanes of The River Road, I have no details about it, nor do I wish to speculate. With that said, I hope people are respectful of those left behind, and avoid putting rumors out. I speak from experience when I say that it is hurtful and tends to magnify an already difficult situation for those left behind. When those who are grieving are ready to talk about it, they will -- or they wont... but its their choice. In the meantime, I would like to think that people will avoid stating hearsay as fact. My heart goes out to anyone whose own heart is aching today over the loss of a loved one.
