While I was out pulling weeds (weedS...not Weed) out of my sidewalk and patio bricks, I had an epiphany. I was enjoying domestic life and being outdoors making my home a beautiful place. I am becoming my Gingi. While there is nothing wrong with that, and she is a shining example of a good strong Southern woman, it made me wish that I had paid more attention to her wisdom when I was younger. She tried to impart so much knowledge regarding gardening and life in general, but I was too bull headed to want to hear it. Now I am regretting that attitude. I think a visit to the PMH ECU is in order Saturday. After I finish my yard work, that is, so I can tell her all about it. I gotta try to make up for lost time before it is too late. And who knows...if I can talk the landlord into it, maybe corn next year?
