While Ill admit that on some level its a bit disheartening that Corman and McCord ostensibly had their foot on the throat of the NCAA--an obviously corrupt, inept government-backed monopoly that has been in full mission-creep-and-justify-our-existence mode for nearly 100 years--and removed it, at least justice was done for Paterno and PSU. Joe Paterno is the one man in the whole mess that did everything right, and PSU as an institution deserved the fine. The fine will now go to help the class of those hurt sooner and more effectively. Its not perfect, but things rarely, if ever, are once they go this wrong and you get the courts involved.
