While Washington continues to provide Assads ally Maliki in Iraq with attack helicopters, missiles and drones, another reminder that Washingtons and the other Friends of Syrias (sic) true friendship in Syria is reserved solely for the Assad regime and its backers (after 3 years, Syrians are well aware of this) 02-04-2014: US Secretary of State John Kerry reconfirmed that the US administration is opposed to providing the Syrian opposition anti-aircraft missiles during a meeting with the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Russian media reported yesterday [Sunday March 31st]. Following his meeting with Kerry in Paris, Lavrov said the US Secretary of State confirmed Washingtons refusal to arm the fighters of the Syrian opposition with anti-aircraft missiles.
