While at the show we visited JL Audios booth and got a quick peek at some very cool stuff. The CR-1 active subwoofer crossover system not only offers unbelievable capabilities for dialing in the subwoofer(s) for your system, it also can manage subwoofer usage between a multi-channel surround system and a two-channel listening system. We are already placing an order for our showroom and a few clients as well. The Dominion subwoofer series will be shipping 2nd quarter of 2015. These cost effect solutions from JL still deserve the branding. Available in 8 or 10 models, the cabinets are very small, offering custom built drivers and a very cool amplifier / crossover system. They will be available in a matte and high gloss piano black finish. We auditioned them and were absolutely blown away with the performance. Time for change with the Fathom series of subwoofers. They are being upgraded to a new V.2 in the future. New DSPs, increased power output and a few other changes improved what was already the best subwoofers made. These will start shipping sometime in 2015 and will have a slightly increased price tag. JL Audios innovations have made them the go to line for our designs and we look forward to a bright future for both of our companies!
