While celebrating National Rootbeer Float Day on JTV’s Bart - TopicsExpress

While celebrating National Rootbeer Float Day on JTV’s Bart Hawley Show, Bart featured rootbeer colored Peanut a six year old min-pin mix as his Pet of the Week from the Cascades Humane Society. Peanut is neutered, micro chipped, vaccinated, and housebroke. He will even put his paws on you when he needs to go outside. He loves going for walks and he rides great in a car. Friendly and alert Peanut gets along with people of all ages, but would prefer a home with no other male dogs. This fun little guy loves to play, and as Bart found out, Peanut just might sneak a drink of your rootbeer float. Peanut was born with an inherited condition called color diluted alopecia. It is basically a cosmetic condition that can break hair follicles. It doesn’t interfere one bit with this happy & fun min-pin’s overall quality of life, despite his hair being a little thin on a few spots on his back. Other areas look fuzzy and feel very soft. You will need to be careful when brushing Peanut. Our adoption counselors will give you more information on this inherited condition when you come in to meet Peanut or any of our other terrific animals at Cascades Humane Society, Tuesday through Saturday between noon and 6pm. Our facility is located at 1515 Carmen Drive. You can also view the available pets on our website - chspets.org. You can watch the Bart Hawley Show online if you dont have access to JTV -jtv.tv/index.php/jtv-live-stream/ The Bart Hawley Show airs *live* Monday thru Friday at 1pm, and replays at 5pm, 8pm, 11pm , 2am and 5am.
