While celebrations and jubilation are rightly on in BJPs victory in the just concluded Lok Sabha elections and the whole nation seems to be fascinated by the unprecedented success of Shri Narendra Modis performance (he deserves due credit for turning around BJPs fortunes), we are missing one fundamental thing in the whole discourse: The SOURCE of the whole Election Campaign Expenditure. According to one estimate, BJP spent almost 5000 Crore rupees on advertising alone.during these elections. I am not against money in elections, but what we are losing the sight of here is: How this money came? How did BJP raise this amount? Who donated/funded? In other words, is this black money or is this money accounted for? As the common sense would dictate if BJP did not issue receipts of the donations (starting from as little a sum as one rupee), then you can not track this money. Black money is the starting point of a WRONG foundation of any organization/event. This issue seems to have been lost in the melee of national celebrations of BJP victory. For this reason, we need saner voices who bring back the focus on Clean Politics. Aam Aadmi Party is amply suited to take up these kinds of issues. After all, right is right!
