While church is not mandatory for salvation, it is Biblical. Look - TopicsExpress

While church is not mandatory for salvation, it is Biblical. Look at Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. I go to church not because I have to, but because I want to. I like being with my brothers and sisters in Christ and I love to hear the Bible taught and preached. I like being uplifted and encouraged by the music, lessons, sermons and testimonies of the people I talk to. I hope you are making plans to attend church this morning. If not, I really hope that you change your mind. Find a good Bible preaching, Bible believing church and go. Find out what this Christian life is all about. Dont go there expecting to meet perfect people. If you do, you will be sadly disappointed, because nobody is perfect, even Christians. But, the one thing we Christians have is a love for God and a deep love for His Word. If a church has that, then the rest will fall into place. Church may not be mandatory, but it sure is worth the effort to go. As with every Sunday, Im going to church this morning. My prayer is that you will join me. Psalm 150:1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Psalm 96:1 O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth. 2 Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day. 3 Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people. 4 For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods. Psalm 5:7 But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.
