While flipping through the radio dial on the way home from a recent gig, I happened upon The Power Of Love. I never hear that Celine Dion song without being transported back to my junior year in high school. I was dating Stacy H. at the time, and her and I were over at Dianas house. This song came on and Diana and her boyfriend started dancing. Stacy wanted to dance, too, but I made up some excuse about not wanting to or not liking the song. She saw right through that, though, and figured out I just didnt know how to dance. A bittersweet memory for me, I suppose, but I absolutely LOVE how a song can create a memory that can have that kind of staying power in our lives!
