While its true that many people dont belong on the road no matter what theyre driving it is especially unfortunate that there are also many untrained and unlicensed people on motorcycles. Common sense and practice will get most people through but certainly doesnt make them skilled experts. In particular though, a few years ago when the gas prices spiked radically there was a large number of people that turned to scooters and motorcycles for the implied economy. Very sadly a large number of them thought they could already drive a car, why get a motorcycle licence and an even larger number that took no training, bought bikes more powerful than they should have and got behind the bars with a very wrong attitude. Darwins law takes care of some but its a sad loss none the less.
