While many of us in Regional Australia look forward to one day - TopicsExpress

While many of us in Regional Australia look forward to one day being able to access fast, reliable broadband services thanks to the NBN, a majority still dont even have what is today considered basic telecommunication services. At the forefront of this issue is mobile telephone service coverage. Whether poor mobile coverage is due to black spots, illegal boosters or simply because existing towers dont meet growing demand, we dont care. Our lives and livelihoods depend on being able to communicate in a timely fashion and many of us are becoming increasingly frustrated at the poor service we are given. So every time we hear something about the NBN and how it will reach 1 in 3 Australians by 2016, we dont care. Those of us living in Regional Australia want our government to help address some basic infrastructure issues before leaping ahead to a future that probably wont extend to us. Politicians, are you able to give the members of this community some feedback on what your party plans to do about giving Regional Australian better basic services?
