While not specifically a comic,Presto Magix made use of art from them. Popular characters like Spider-Man, Hulk or Batman were printed onto a wax-backed paper, which could then transferred through friction onto the card-stock background. This allowed budding artists the chance to create their own comic using art by Marvel and DC creators. Sold in drug stores next to the coloring books, Presto Magix licensed dozens of properties over the years, but their super-hero offerings remain memorable for their comic ties and eye-catching art.
