While the state of our air is not fair in Pennsylvania according to the American Lung Associations annual State of the Air report, a far greater concern should be fugitive methane emissions as a result of natural gas drilling. While states like Colorado, Wyoming and Ohio are placing mandatory controls on natural gas drilling, Pennsylvania is a laggard. In our press release today, we issue the call for Pennsylvania to directly regulate methane emissions in the name of cleaner air and public health.
