While waiting at the traffic lights this morning, we watched a little magpie walk across the road. It crossed at the traffic lights, using the pedestrian crossing. Walked between the lines and everything. It reached the other side, turned then continued walking across the pedestrian crossing in front of our car. Made it quite safely to the other side, even after stopping for a quick feather ruffle midway through its journey.
