While we are focused on the events from today and our hopes to make change at the shelter, we also need to take care of our usual work. For tonight - There is NO euth list (and I imagine you can guess why). The shelter ended up with space at the end of the day; ideally, we would like to move out the beagle pups before the weekend so they dont get sick, and we want to keep moving dogs out and making space. Please keep sharing! Also .. . The food/vaccination fund is now empty; Loretta actually had to buy food out of her pocket today. We have reminded the officials today that we buy food and medications for the shelter animals, and now we have to back that up with action. Please pledge on this status if you are able to donate to this fund. Donations will go to Cat Adoption Team, a 501c3, of course, and the rescue will buy food as needed for the shelter. (If we buy all of the food at once, bags tend to disappear with members of the public who see a large stockpile.)
