While were coming-up with names, I got a bunch of them from a very unexpected source. Several centuries ago now, (or at least it feels that long ago now), I had my 17th. Birthday party in my basement on Pinepoint Drive. It must have been the party of the Year, at least based on the guest list. Ive found 20 old pictures from that party that Ill gradually try to scan & post for you, and I also found a birthday card signed by most of the people who came. Combining the names on the card with the pictures, heres what the guest list was: Carole Rees, Jan McDonald, Carole OConnell, Mary Manning, Val Bruce, Ruth Renault, Pete Gypsy Partridge (his addition), Bill Irwin, Norm Slade, Jim Partridge, Suzanne Royer, Penny Sainthill, Jim Hope, Fast, and also Slow, (whoever they were), Dave Gimmer, Tom Gougeon, Gloria Hoare, Ann Summers, Dave Butler, Linda Cross, Henry Ceh, Ted Moore, Wee Lee Gunnis (her addition), Pat McCarthy, Rick Fenton, Shirley Holloway, Robbie MacDonald Dead-Head (his addition), Jan Clark, Jim Hutchinson, (All of the above signed the card and also the following who appear in some of the pictures: Dave Bangs, Steve Fontanne, Ronnie McLean, ( & his very attractive un-named lady friend), Ted MacMillan, Sandy Farquharson, Wendy Austen, Dan Dever, Dennis Cross, Bill Manning, Carol Haime, and 2 preppy-looking guys that showed-up uninvited and who stole a bunch of my LPs when they left! Thats all I can see for sure, but I think I also see some body-parts from Ann Stearns, Ron Dujay & Bill Rutherford there as well, and what party would be complete without them? My Oh My - What a Party! Too bad I cant remember it !!!!!
