White Staffing Management is currently hiring for a set up techniciain in the Bowling Green area. Set up Technician responsibilities: • Examine completed work pieces for defects. • Start machines. • Monitor machine operations. • Record operational data. • Clean and lubricate machines. • Cut material according to work orders. • Verify conformance to specifications using micrometers, gauges, calipers, templates, rulers. • Operator guillotine knife, scoring machine, die cutter, folder gluers, rotary press, press brake. Turret machines, punching equipment, shear press. • Use machinery to die-cut, dry-edge, score, slit, laminate. • Change saw blades as required. • Perform spectrotests. • Load and unload rolls on slitter. • Construct pallets of finished goods according to customer specifications. • Print out and attach accurate labels to finished rolls. • Spot and determine visual defects. • Cut out defects and splice together good material. • Set up dies in presses. • Run the presses. • Conduct in-process inspections. • Arrange knives on a bar to the correct position. • Position and secure machinery by reading and interpreting blueprints and diagrams. • Insert rotary tool. • Adjust tension on rewind. • Measure parts to ensure correct dimensions. • Unwind mandrels prior to running job and continue to fine tune adjustment of tension as needed. • Position material on spools to ensure proper alignment with rotary cutter. • Set up run speeds. Full time position must be open to overtime up to 7 days a week on a regular basis. Experience is required.
