White Wagtail (Motacilla alba lugens) 7 1/2 inches a rare sight in the Philippines but not hard to find in Japan. I guess even birds enjoy the cold weather much more in Japan. Just like the other Wagtails that we have, it has the same habit of bobbing its tail. Some say that they do that to disturb the insects on the ground to move and readily becomes a meal for the bird. That was interesting to know. Canon EOS 1DX Canon EF 800mm f/5.6 L IS USM Gitzo GT3530LS tripod M-3.6 Mongoose Gimbal Action Head.
