Whites and blacks tend to be more stoic and desensitized regarding other’s affairs, especially if raised in countries with radical political systems like Eastern Europe, or with the daily stresses of tight economic times, civil wars or ethnic segregation. In many of these cultures children are taught not to show their weaker side by crying out, asking for favors and suppressing feelings of love and tenderness. If parents or grandparents were indelibly marked by traumatic experiences like war, frequently a dark cloud shadows the family environment, with a pervasive sadness lingering for generations. For these ethnic groups it is unconceivable to have the flexibility of Latinos, who can laugh, dance and be intimate under adverse situations. Those are the treasures of the poor and they can be life preserving, as is shown that to maintain a sense of humor can be life sustaining. Studies has shown that self contained individuals, as the leptosomatic suffer more of psychotic related illnesses, which are the ones that make a person generate negative feelings like hate and revenge. That is why if “Latin hot blood” is not in the veins is still good to teach the children to have more tolerance for others and not to inflict harm at others.
