Whitley Bay AS Open Summer Match final result - Newton, 31/08/14 & final placings: Final match result & overall placings - 31/08/14: It came right down to the wire today in the final match fished at Newton, and Garry Appleton managed to grab the overall win with a great bag of 6 fish for 19lb 15oz, beating Steve Williams who managed to add only 5lb 14oz to his total.
