Who Ever Had This Happen? Finishing a Home Inspection at 6:30PM (not myself, but a Realtor friend), the Home Inspector is getting ready to go over the report with the anxious First Time Home Buyer, when suddenly the Home Owner bursts into the house and starts screaming that everyone just needs to get out of her house now because Home Inspections do not take this long (2.5hs at this point for a 2300sqf home). Trying to calm her down, my friend says that it is quite normal for this size of home, the Home Owner exclaims that her Home Inspections never took this long and get out now! I guess she must have been hungry! But now I wonder, who was HER Inspector and how good of a job did he do? Did the Sellers Realtor set expectations and if so, I really feel for that Realtor for having to deal with this kind of crazy stuff and... I wonder what the buyers thought... There is more, but I thought Id let you guys chime in...any thoughts?
