Who Says free Education is not Possible? How much do we spend on Bye Elections? How many other un budgeted Expenses? How Huge is our Leaders Pay Roll? How wide is our Tax Base? Here is my strategy but i will file for an injunction is someone plagiarizes: 1. No Unnecessary bye Elections. Change legislation such that no MP should re-contest a seat during the 5 year mandate and you will avoid unnecessary defections and bye elections 2. Avoid haphazard unbudgeted for Expenditures and projects which stress our treasury so much 3.Cut down on the size of Government. We have too many ministers and Deputy Ministers. we can make a substantial saving from this and channel it to education.(sorry honourable ministers i know you would like me for this but we are talking about prudence here) 4. Increase the number of pipo paying Tax to including the informal sector and all those running tuntembas and homeshops. ( It looks like an unpopular suggestion but trust me low taxes but many tax payers will increase our revenue base) 5. Diversify our economic activities and encourage growth in other sectors oher than the Mines 6. Revise our education acriculars and make the more Vocatrional and industry based. 7. create deliberate measures to encourage investments abroad and massive industriallisation by local enterprenuers.... Am not an economist but i know that these measures coupled with other feasible fiscal measure and favourable deiberate policies can make any 1 whether PF , UPND or those independent candidates vying for plot 1 do something for this country. We just have to be realistic to the fact that it may take a while in order for the ordinary citizen to enjoy the benefits of these measures not the 90 days nonsense......I REST MY CASE
