Who gets credit for the low(er) gas prices? Congress or the president? Heres what I know about it. When gas was $4 a gallon, the right, including me, blamed obama (I still do). The left blamed everyone but their God, uhhum I mean obama. I remember quite clearly when gas was $4 under Bush, the right and the left slammed Bush, not congress. When bush had gas below $2, the right gave credit to bush and the left to congress, because there was no way in their mind Bush could do something good. Well now that gas is hovering around $2 again, who gets the credit? If you go off recent history, the left should say congress just like they did with Bush, right? Wrong! They are giving credit to the chosen one! Who would of guessed? Double standard much??? Well, when gas was high, I remember saying obama had a gas price knob in the oval office, so it would be liberal of me to say thats changed. Cant believe the day has come that I can say congrats obama and not mean it sarcastically. So, congrats obama, you have gas lower, still higher than when you took office, but at least its not $4 a gallon. Your first decent accomplishment in seven years, not too shabby
