Do you have any idea the courage it takes to put ones personal reputation online and in public in America today? It is like walking naked and unarmed into a sword fight. Mariannes courage and devotion to her ideals is deep and enduring. But it still is important that she feels that she has a community at her back. So lets each of us do whatever we can to let her know that we are with her, beside her, behind her, around her. 2. OUR BROKEN POLITICAL SYSTEM. This system of our has indeed ground to a halt — or worse yet, is often sputtering our of control like a car with a broken steering wheel careening from Left to Right down the highway, endangering and often injuring innocent people along the way. Mariannes candicacy is more than just about her. It is about sending a message that a new way is needed... a new path must be forged. To the very best of her ability, she is putting signposts on that transpartisan path. There are dozens of other candidates around the country preparing to do so them. But at the moment, Marianne is the torchbearer. All the others will be watching her, waiting to see if she flourishes or fails.
