Who is behind the Lower Maraval Residents Association? Midnight - TopicsExpress

Who is behind the Lower Maraval Residents Association? Midnight sittings of the High Court? Injunctions? These are not low cost or simple things to achieve by any stretch of the imagination, and in such an already commercial area, how is commercialisation of a commercial zone even being allowed to be advanced as a concern? I have heard others complain about the possibility of increased traffic, but what of the reduced traffic for parents who already live in the (Maraval) Diego Martin North East Constituency? Solutions abound for the resolution of Maraval traffic that have been bandied about for years but have been ironically resisted by residents, from making Champs Elysee one way headed north, to the more drastic one way circuit west to east of upper Long Circular Road through Boissierre and west through Rapsey and Barbados Roads. Outside of massive forced property acquisitions or the covering of the Maraval river these are the only real and workable solutions that can and should be explored, but that aside, in the face of so much unregulated development it continues to strike me as odd the size of the effort to shut down not just a school, but one seemingly as promising as this one appears. Clearly there is a lot more in the mortar here, but at some point i expect we will all know what. Until then, we continue to seek out information with a view towards a resolution that would get these children back into school before too much harm is done.
