Who likes to peel garlic? It can be a real task sometimes involving a lot of unnecessary peeling of that fine film of skin that stubbornly remains. There are many ways to peel a whole head of garlic. Heres an effective way I found that can have you with separated cloves, taking just over a minute to do. From there you can mince, dice, use it however you want in your favourite recipies. The main and most important part, the heads of garlic must first be kept in your refrigerator for at least 3 to 4 weeks in advance. Then, when you are ready to make minced garlic, take it out, easily remove the outer paper-like skin, then one by one break the cloves apart. Now, take each clove, and with a little force, use a twisting motion forward, then backward. The skin comes right off... yes, including that stubborn fine film of skin! With practice, you can get it done inside of 60 seconds!
