Who starts the rumors in the Church? Is it abuse of privilege? Could it be trust betrayal? or human weakness on the part of our men of God? A seminarian is advised to reconsider his vocation/call and even people outside the Church appear to know the facts/cause more than even the young man. A priest mysteriously and painfully dies in his private residence and the public appear to hold the facts more than even the dead man of God and his Bishop. Misunderstandings in the presbytery or among 2Priests and parishioners discuss it factually as if it had happened in the market.One goes to the catechist or a leader with a problem and people in no time hold the whole detail of it. Let me as a victim of these rumor mongers say on authority that most of these are frictions,fantasies,imaginations,lies especially stories related to the priests by people who are privileged to be closer to the priests or hold positions in the church. Some will even authenticate their lies with their position,am the Parish chairman! we are leading the youth! Am with the priests and am telling you! etc. Watch out! The Hearts Mother Church and Mother Mary are bleeding.
