Who uses a long turkey fryer thermometer in their uds? Im trying to figure out the best way to mount it so it will stay straight between the racks but can be removed and replaced easily. Currently my plan is to take a large bolt (7/8-1 ish) fasten it through the side of my drum and drill out the center to whatever the size of the stem is so I can put it in and out as needed and still have a relatively tight fit. Has anyone had success or failure with that method or done it a different way?
