Who uses generators?We have one, used it once when we had a blackout at home. Much prefer our solar panel. If there are two separate camp areas a fair way away its ok, we have seen someone fully setup at Kingfisher Camp with the generator right smack bang in the middle of the non genny area, and it was clearly signposted! Here is what we put as an idea on another facebook page! A good solar panel, that you put on the ground, and have split leads that can be split between the Engel Australia fridge we have and the caravan is best and easiest! Everything bar the microwave can work, our TV if we use it! Rather sit by a camp fire. And remember a solar panel is lighter, more compact to travel with, and doesnt need fuel! And no noise! Some older generators are so so loud, and we find even the expensive quiet ones can be slightly annoying while sitting by the campfire if one is nearby.
