Whoa that was a rough few days! Im so thankful for my family!!! Reading James 1 tonight. He says that we should be glad when we face trials. Its the best way to grow our perseverance. I hope mine has gotten stronger lately :) James also says that a religion and pure faith acceptable before God is had by someone who does not allow themselves to be polluted by the world. I love that word choice. Pollution starts very small. It begins with a gym wrapper. It ends in the destruction of an entire planet. Pollution in your life builds up the same way. I definitely have some spring cleaning to do. My favorite point made in this chapter is that God doesnt shift like the shadows we assume that God is like the people in our lives because that is all we know. Its easy to feel like maybe he will wake up some morning and decide he doesnt like you. It goes beyond our understanding to learn that he never wavers in his love for each one of us. We are the ones that are enticed away from him. Wow. Thanks James :)
