Whoever criticizes a politician, whether on the right or left, can expect friends with opposing views to quickly point out that a prior politician that the criticizer likely supported was just as bad in the same or similar regard. I guess the end game is to show some kind of irony in the whole thing, and to thereby discredit the persons expressed critical opinion. It seems to me, though, that, In the end, and in any event, to say your guy was just as bad as mine, even if true, doesnt go very far to address the admitted problem, whatever it is. Yeah, thats my opinion and youre welcome to it. Blah, blah, blah.
