Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” (Psalm 91:1-2 NIV) Oh the beauty of rest. Each day we as children of God struggle with the worlds degradation. The sins of mankind have become so great that God is certainly heartbroken. What do we do as His child? We live a faithful, obedient life, we pray daily for His presence in us and the pouring out of His Spirit upon us. We do all this to stand firm in our faith and trust wholly in Him. We spread the gospel, love people as He loves them. All the time praying for a mighty revival and Holy Spirit induced renewal for each of us and those we come in contact with. While doing this we need to rest, so therefore we have a shelter in the times of turmoil. Praise God for the sheltering of His children, thank Him daily for His constant watch care over you and lift Him up to others. Love and prayers for each of you today. I have a shelter in the storm When troubles pour upon me Though fears are rising like a flood My soul can rest securely O Jesus, I will hide in You My place of peace and solace No trial is deeper than Your love That comforts all my sorrows I have a shelter in the storm When all my sins accuse me Though justice charges me with guilt Your grace will not refuse me O Jesus, I will hide in You Who bore my condemnation I find my refuge in Your wounds For there I find salvation I have a shelter in the storm When constant winds would break me For in my weakness, I have learned Your strength will not forsake me O Jesus, I will hide in You The One who bears my burdens With faithful hands that cannot fail You’ll bring me home to heaven.
