Why Do I Think Mayweather vs. Pacquiao Clash Of The Titans Will Still Happen... Someday? IMO, whether Top Rank CEO & promoter Bob Arum is around or not, whether people think Mayweather is ducking Pacquiao and cherry-picking his opponents, whether Pacquiao is busy playing politician, man of God, hero, philanthropist, singer, actor, hoops player et al…. I still think the mega-dream match-up, the battle between two P4P kings and what is perceived to be the biggest fight of them all, an event that will dwarf all the previous boxing ticket &PPV sales - will still happen before these two pugilists hang their gloves for good. WHY? Because as fighters, its too tempting to know for themselves if they really are the best of the best during their era. These warriors are just wired that way. They would not want to go down in the history book not knowing. That would be painful more than anything. And the primary reason & the biggest motivator? The All MIGHTY DOLLAR’ whom many individuals worship. Agree or not, wed love to hear your takes. ;)
