Why I LOVE being State Rep. Darshun Kendrick and love public service :-) My email to commissioners and DOT after meeting with a constituent this morning. Good Afternoon, I met with a constituent today who lives off 124 in my district in Gwinnett. Like the concerns I brought to you before, there is concern about not having enough traffic lights on 124. I have attached 2 maps given to me. They are the same map---one is just magnified. My constituent, Mr. (constituent name), is a retired firefighter after 32 years and worked in Gwinnett schools. He would like to see a study done about the feasibility of getting more lights down the 2 mile stretch of 124 going towards DeKalb county after the light at Publix (beside Hope and Life Church) and Norris Lake (shown in the attached map). Specifically, can a light be placed at Johnson Road in front of the firestation 6 on 124. Whats the next step to see if we can get this done since it seems to be an issue that keeps coming up.
