Why I LOVE to hit the snooze… On those mornings that I lay in bed a few extra minutes, I am almost certain to be greeted by my beautiful little man, Knox, and his wide-eyed, little face. He’ll sleepily tell me, “I had a good nap, Momma” (at around 6AM) and climb up the side of my bed that is just a little too high for him to do easily. He then throws his tiny little arm across me, snuggles his nose against my side, tells me, “I wuv you, Momma,” and just like that he’s asleep again. These are the moments that get imprinted on a heart and elate a soul. These are the moments that cannot be taken, and these are the moments that make you go to the lengths that you will go when you are a parent, because in that moment, mutual, unconditional, undaunted love is alive and all the woes of the world just seem to cease.
