Why I am so humble to be a Chiropractor and honored to be a part of our ELITE Chiropractic Centers of Southwest Michigan. A testimonial from one of our patients, Danielle Christie. Our lives have changed in so many great ways because of Dr. Garrett and his profession that it’s hard to even know where to begin when talking about Soldano Family Chiropractic. Even as I sit here and write this I tear up, because I know the quality of our lives have immensely changed for the better. Not only is Dr. Garrett an amazing Chiropractor, he is also an amazing educator and seeks to enlighten people. It’s because of this that we, as parents, have made certain choices for our son that we otherwise wouldn’t have, had we not met Dr. Garrett. My story begins a few years back, in September of 2011. We had recently come back from our honeymoon, where we went zip lining, cliff diving and off roading; shortly thereafter I began to feel numbness in my entire left side. It got to the point where my entire left side was tingling pretty much throughout the whole day. During this time, I also had some of the worst allergies I had ever experienced in my 26 years. I remember having scabs over my eyelids from scratching so hard. With both of these conditions, I knew it was time to see Dr. Garrett (to whom my husband had been referred from a co-worker). From the very first moment I walked into Soldano Family Chiropractic, I felt welcomed and even more so, felt at home. He and Dee took the time to make me aware of what the process would be, from x rays, to educational videos (on chiropractics), to discussing my issues with Dr. Garrett, to eventually my first adjustment. I immediately knew this was the place for me, because they took the time to make my situation and to make me feel important. The great thing about Soldano Family Chiropractic is that they don’t need to “sell” their profession to you; the x-rays speak for themselves. I could see for myself that I was out of alignment. From there, I became a regular patient and received adjustments three times a week. I can honestly say that within the first week of being adjusted my numbness and allergies were completely gone! Not long after, my husband and I were ready to grow our family, and we had been trying for 4 unsuccessful months to get pregnant. When we were in for an adjustment, we had mentioned this to Dr. Garrett. He then told us about an adjustment called, “The Logan,” (Ironically, we named our son Logan, having forgotten the name of the adjustment) which is designed to help with the reproductive region. He performed this adjustment on me only twice, and within the next month we were pregnant! Many of his other patients struggling to get pregnant, have also had success after having the adjustment. Another great thing I remember about my adjustments goes back to running the Grand Rapids Half Marathon in October of 2011. The day after, I came limping in to Dr. Garrett’s office (due to a knee injury) for an adjustment, and five minutes later I was walking out of his office completely normal, healed and with no limp at all! As a new parent of a 1 year old, I have quickly learned there are few people I can trust, especially when it comes to the health of our son. Perhaps the most frightening thing is discovering the people we are supposed to be able to trust are the very ones who lie and deceive us (i.e. our pediatrician and a large number of professionals in the health industry). Dr. Garrett is one of the few people who we can trust as parents and who has been there to answer any questions we’ve had along the way. There are no words to describe what it means to me, as a mother, that we have found Dr. Garrett. He and is staff are doing what they love and more importantly, they are doing it with passion. They are some of the most positive and genuinely happy people I have met, and they love to serve others. The services that Soldano Family Chiro offers is truly preventative care. In fact, they might as well be the definition of preventative care. I know with just the few years we’ve been going there have made up for a lifetime of ailments. It is truly a privilege to be apart of Soldano Family Chiropractic and I consider it an honor to share my story. Danielle Christie
