Why I am so passionate about what we do? Its not a joke! It shouldnt be minimized! Its a crisis of epidemic proportion! Im honestly quite angry as a parent! FED UP! Great title on so many levels. Moms and dads... It starts with us! We have to be healthy and set the example. Yes, our kids will become their own people and eventually make their own choices, but we have to at least set the example early. Teach them what healthy nutrition looks like! Teach them the importance of exercise. Teach them why our bodies need water, water, water! Teach them to take their vitamins! Teach them what a healthy lifestyle looks like! Its not about perfection. Its the 80-20 rule. FED UP! YEP! Why we do what we do! Freaking no cases type II diabetes in adolescents to over 58,000 in a few short years. Ergh! Makes me so mad!
