Why I cant get behind Joel Osteen and his teachings. He preaches for us to demand and ask for physical possessions from God but not that we should repent and ask for forgiveness. The emphasis of Christianity is not material gain or carnal happiness but eternal life and salvation from hell. To be a follower of Christ. Blessings do come to Christians but this is not the focus of Christianity. He teaches that man has the power HIMSELF to speak things into existence, this is called the law of attraction, and it is not of the bible or biblical teaching but rather a belief of the new age movement. Selfish man centered, not God centered theology. The oldest lie the devil ever told was that ye shall become as gods..... Is not thinking something into existence a godly power? Be not deceived brothers and sisters. This man is not a mouth piece for the lord but a false teacher. I ask that you pray on this if you follow Mr. Osteen and pray that god give you the gift of discernment so that you may know the truth. And be able to spot a wolf in sheeps clothing. I pray everyday on this and watched Mr. Osteens videos and did my own research and I can tell you, I do not feel the holy spirit in his teachings. Please do your own research if you do not believe me. Read your bible and listen to Joel Osteen and ask yourself if he is really a brother in Christ. Thanks for listening.
