Why July 14 is special to me: My first baby was due July 21, I had hoped he would arrive early. I wanted a 4th baby because I loved the idea of everybody (In America) celebrating him! At any rate in true Garrett ORourke fashion he was born on his terms when he decided it was time. That day was 20 years ago, today. He has makes me proud and throughout his life he has proven again and again that when I have needed him most he cant get there fast enough. He was a ray of sunshine and unwavering support while mom went through chemo, during Dad s decline, and Tristans surgery . (All at the same time!!) he is well mannered, polite generous and thoughtful. He holds the fort down when I travel for work, He thinks for himself and has a very old soul. He helps keep me laughing and grounded, and thats why I love him to the moon and back! Happy birthday, Garrett... Or Garrettito as Grand-dude often called him. :) I hope you know how much you are loved.
