Why Pascals Wager fails is simple. Even if one admits every tenet of the Christian religion to be indisputably true and beyond all rational disagreement, there will simply always be people, such as myself, who desire no relationship with the deity of that religion. To say, in essence, love me or be tormented forever! (And apparently, a personal relationship is inseparable from salvation) is nothing more than coercion of the most gratuitous sort. If its wrong for us, its wrong for God (assuming he exists, which is a *big* if,), because might doesnt make right.
