REMEMBER WHEN PETER JOVANOVICHS FAILED MAYORIAL CAMPAIGN WEB URGED WESTCHESTER COUNTY TO APPROVE SUSTAINABLE PLAYLAND INC (SPI) Yes Jovanovich wanted the Godzilla-sized sports facility. The former deputy mayor liked SPI so much, he was campaigning on what a great idea SPI was. Unfortunately for him, Jovanovich dropped a full-color mailer just days after residents rose up against the plan announcing that he would make White Plains aware of Ryes overwhelming support for SPI. Yes it is true, Deputy Dog (a playful moniker he gave himself) still was promoting his old position on SPI through his official campaign website, where he states, I fully support Sustainable Playland Inc., and, if elected Mayor of Rye, I would urge our County legislators to approve their plan.
