Why Tok has long term vagrants staying so long. I think Tok is way to Kind to people who just show up with a backpack and decide to live at 3 bears by day, and the post office at night. Now this is the 2nd time I have to fear a homeless person when I enter 3 bears, Who knows what this guy can do but after what I witnessed tonight here at the Minimart, I just need to say Stop helping these bums STAY in Tok and start helping them MOVE along! Now I know they come and go here and one dude has been an asset to some folks in the community by getting firewood and He does what he needs to survive. I like the guy. Then we get the ones like the freak that has been at 3 bears hanging around, Or another good one the guy that camped by Chevron and Brices a few years back...remember him? So now this is twice that I have been threatened and almost attacked by one of these people while working. Now I know I will see that guy at 3 bears tomorrow and I am sure he will do or say or maybe attack me! I am seriously thinking of packing my 45 tomorrow just to go shopping!! I do understand being kind to people but be kind to someone who deserves it and doesnt just take up space in a lobby somewhere. Hell I even showed up in Tok with my backpack and mandolin, But I had a job and a place to live, And I have helped some members in this community with many many chores about the house, Don Marshall being one, Bill Morris, and a few others. So yeah I am a backpack person and yes being kind is a great thing but too much kindness and we now have a nutcase full time living at 3 bears. GREAT!
