Why are conventional fire arms used in star wars? They must have the technology for bullets, and they are more accurate than firing lasers from blasters. Presumably they are not used on ships to avoid penetrating the hull or windows by accident but why are there none on the ground there should surely be some left. Also what happens if a bullet intercepts a lightsaber, is it vaporized or does it melt in which case they would be useful against jedi as they would be hit my the molten bullet
