Why are our air forces decisions on national defence made on assumption? In the World War 2, the British also assumed that the Japanese army would not be able to attack Singapore from the Peninsular Malaya but as the history tells us, the Japanese did sink the great British war ships offshore at Kuantan and moved on to conquer Singapore. The Japanese action caught the British by surprise. Our officials should not administer by assumption.
