Why are the DLP and the UWP being allowed to hold activities side-by-side, in neighbouring communities, using the same transportation route, each essentially having to pass through the opponents convention rally to get to their own? I thought it was customary for the Police Commissioner to review both parties schedule/itinerary to ensure that the two side would not be on a collision course. In a politically charged environment such as this, why tempt temptation? Why provoke provocation? Why create the opportunity for unnecessary trouble? Thus far there has mostly, only been a war of words, let it remain that way! Those in leadership have an obligation to ensure that it remains that way!
