Why are there folks in this country distrustful of law enforcement? Because things like this. This happened in my lifetime. Police literally bombed a residential neighborhood in Philadelphia in 1985. Whether they were justified in eviction or not there is zero justification for the tactics used in the eviction. But Mark, that happened almost 30 years ago. What does it matter? Let it go! The sad truth is we have not learned from these types of mistakes and innocent people are being harmed by systemic failure in law enforcement all across the country.
