Why are you still in your church clothes?? i asked confused. My mother always wore the same outfit to church when she went, and so did my father to an extent. They still had there big black coats on, and smart shoes on. They had not gone to the shops or anything because they had no bags. Maybe they had nipped out really early and brought some extra stuff for that day? What? we have just come back from church darling! Your back early from the bonfire arnt you? Its not even gone past nine yet.
